Nestled within one of Brisbane’s most sought-after suburbs, the Pear Project demonstrates how a carefully considered extension can completely transform the way a family lives and interacts within their home. Working alongside Frame Architectural, Dirsell Constructions was engaged to undertake an internal renovation and rear extension that would create a more functional kitchen, dining and family living environment while preserving the home’s existing character and charm.
The result is a seamless blend of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary living, providing the family with significantly more space while maintaining the warmth and personality that made them fall in love with the home in the first place.
Scope of Works

Challenges Overcome
Not every successful project is defined by construction obstacles. In the case of the Pear Project, the greatest achievement was delivering a complex extension with minimal disruption and maintaining a highly collaborative relationship with the homeowners throughout the process.
The project benefited from excellent site access and a fantastic client relationship, allowing the construction team, consultants and homeowners to work together seamlessly from commencement through to handover.
The homeowners also utilised the Dirsell Constructions Client Portal throughout the build, providing access to project updates, photographs, schedules and communications, ensuring they remained informed and connected to the project regardless of their location.
